Welcome to Expressions in Clay.  The polymer clay or air dry clay sculptures are made without molds; each is a one of a kind art sculpture hand crafted by the artist. Cypress Knee Santas and Elves are now available.
Included are Traditional and Old World Santas, some with children, elves, individuals such as young girls and boys, African American Santas, and art doll sculptures, Native Americans dressed in hand laced leather garments, some as soft bodies with wire armatures, some as full body clay sculptures, historical figures, fanciful historical, religious figures, Bas relief pieces of Native Americans suitable as table top art, yet ready to frame.
They are wigged with fine mohair and dressed with beautiful fabrics. Some are full body clay sculptures. Many dolls have imported glass eyes; most are hand painted by the artist. Some are made using the method of renowned doll artist, Robert McKinley.  Cypress Knee Santas and Elves are now shown.

Doll of the Year Award
Distinctively Original Sculptures by Lynda Dunham-Watkins

I am proud to announce that 'Love' (Mary and Joseph) and 'Wyatt Earp' were awarded the coveted DOTY awards at IDEX in Orlando, Florida, January 29, 2010. They now join 'Summer' and 'Cody', two of my other sculptures also awarded this honor.
 'Love' was also awarded 1st Place in Sculpture at the prestigious 125 Plano Arts Association Juried Show
on April 14,2010.
