Wyatt Earp had purpose...intent...and meant to keep every inch of that purpose and intent. Probably the reason I sculpted him and have long admired him...I like people like Wyatt Earp. No, he wasn't perfect, had lots of faults like all of us, but he gave his word and kept it. Pretty admirable..even today.
Earp is 12 inches tall, 13 with the wooden cowhide covered base.
His gun is patterned after his real one "The Buntline Special". Whether true or myth, it makes a good story. Below are a couple of pictures I used while sculpting him.
Earp is made of Cernit. He now has his badge on. I failed to put it on before the picture was made.
